1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using egirlcovers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including browsers, photo submitters, artists, and administrators.

By submitting photos through our platform — whether as a registered user or anonymously — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms contained herein, including but not limited to the age requirement, content usage rights, and licensing provisions.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use egirlcovers in any capacity, including but not limited to:

Creating an account
Submitting photos (with or without an account)
Browsing, downloading, or saving content
Appearing in any photo submitted to the platform

By using egirlcovers, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we discover or reasonably believe that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate access and remove all associated content without notice. Any person appearing in submitted photographs must also be at least 18 years of age at the time the photograph was taken.

We reserve the right to request age verification at any time and to remove content or suspend accounts pending verification.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
One account per person. Multiple accounts may be terminated.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you upload to egirlcovers. By uploading content, you grant egirlcovers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to display, distribute, sublicense, and promote your content on the platform and through third-party distribution channels.

5. Photo Submissions & Usage Rights

By submitting photos to egirlcovers, you explicitly agree to the following:

Your photos may be used by music artists as album cover art, single artwork, EP covers, or promotional material for distribution on streaming platforms including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, and SoundCloud.
You grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license for the use of your submitted photos as described above.
Your credit (name and/or social media handles) will be displayed alongside your content where feasible, but credit display is not guaranteed in all distribution contexts (e.g., on streaming platforms where metadata is limited).
You may not revoke this license for content that has already been distributed or is in active use by an artist.
egirlcovers may crop, resize, apply filters, or otherwise modify your photos to fit the requirements of album artwork dimensions and platform specifications.
Submitted photos may be displayed publicly on the egirlcovers platform, social media, and marketing materials.

Takedown Requests

While the license granted is perpetual and irrevocable once content is in active use, you may submit a takedown request for photos that have not yet been used by an artist. Takedown requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our discretion. Photos already distributed as album artwork cannot be recalled from streaming platforms.

6. Licensing

egirlcovers facilitates the connection between photo submitters and music artists. By submitting your photo, you agree that artists may use your image for:

Streaming Cover Art — Usage on DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
Music Video & Social — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, promotional content
Physical Releases — Vinyl, CD, cassette artwork
Promotional Material — Posters, social media ads, website banners

No additional compensation is provided to submitters for the use of their photos. The exchange is visibility, credit, and exposure through the artist's release.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Upload content you do not have rights to
Submit photos of persons under 18 years of age
Use the platform for illegal purposes
Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without authorization
Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
Impersonate another person or entity
Submit AI-generated, deepfake, or digitally altered photos misrepresenting reality
Submit photos without consent of the persons depicted

8. DMCA & Takedowns

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on egirlcovers infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice to hello@egirlcovers.com with:

Identification of the copyrighted work
Identification of the infringing material and its location on our platform
Your contact information
A statement of good faith belief
A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
Your physical or electronic signature

We will investigate and remove infringing content within a reasonable timeframe. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. You may also use our takedown request form at egirlcovers.com/takedown.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, egirlcovers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific level of exposure, visibility, or use of submitted photos.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless egirlcovers, its officers, employees, agents, and any artists who use content from the platform, from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your submissions, your use of the platform, or your violation of these terms. This includes but is not limited to claims related to intellectual property infringement, right of publicity violations, or misrepresentation of age or consent.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Licenses granted for content already distributed or in active use survive termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or platform notification.
